Articles just arrived to Viva Engage


Note: Articles in Viva Enage requires that users are assigned the Viva Engage Knowledge Service Plan, which is bundled into Microsoft Viva Suite, or Viva Employee Communications and Communities.

I am, because this means we can create longer and more rich post in Viva Engage.


Can we have different article types

Currently it's only one article type but we could add a Viva Engage topic to the articles to give them different topics, for instance Knowledge Article, News Post etc.


What does this mean?

This means that we can use Viva Engage as a Knowledge Management system, we can for instance create a community where we have articles that covers best practices for sales, where employees will collaborate to share the knowledge.


We can also use this for news articles, to reach more people then maybe if we created the same articles just in SharePoint.
